About The Client
Location- Pune, India
An innovative organization working at the intersection of sustainability and menstrual hygiene management, they have developed a patented recycling technology that transforms used sanitary pads into recyclable materials—offering a solution to the environmental challenges of traditional disposal methods.
The BDE will focus on expanding the organization’s reach within housing societies, communities, and government sectors. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals that drive the organization’s growth in these verticals. The role requires an individual who can manage both fieldwork and client interactions while ensuring smooth service implementation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Conduct market research to identify potential housing societies, communities, and government bodies
- Engage potential clients through calls, emails, and in-person meetings to present the organization's offerings
Client Nurturing & Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships
- Collect feedback to enhance services and strengthen relationships
Field Visits & Presentations
- Conduct on-site visits to assess client needs and provide tailored solutions
- Organize presentations to explain the organization’s process and benefits
Price Negotiation & Deal Closure
- Develop proposals based on client requirements and market conditions
- Engage in negotiations to finalize contracts that meet both client and organizational goals
Operations Management
- Oversee service delivery, ensuring timely pickups, high-quality standards, and adherence to regulations
- Communicate effectively with service teams to ensure smooth operations
Compliance & Community Engagement
- Ensure regulatory adherence for each project
- Drive community engagement through awareness campaigns and collaboration with local leaders
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of business development or sales experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage fieldwork, build relationships, and close deals
- Experience with government stakeholders is a plus
- Passion for sustainability and community-driven impact
- Familiarity with local waste management and sustainability ecosystems is preferred
