Our client is a leading energy-efficiency and climate-tech company focused on transforming how infrastructure projects deliver performance. Through innovative models and technology-driven solutions, the organization enables businesses to reduce energy consumption, lower costs, and achieve sustainability goals. With strong impact delivered across projects and a mission aligned with large-scale carbon reduction, the company operates at the intersection of engineering, automation, and climate innovation.
The client is seeking a Central Planning Lead to drive structured execution across multiple complex projects. This role sits at the core of planning, coordination, and delivery, ensuring that projects move from design to commissioning with predictability and control. It requires someone who can bring structure to ambiguity, align cross-functional teams, and proactively manage risks in large-scale engineering projects.
● Project Planning and Scheduling: Developing and maintaining integrated project schedules across multiple projects so that Projects across Smart Joules move from design to commissioning with clear schedules, defined milestones, and minimal surprises. Success here means:
○ 90–95% adherence to planned project milestones
○ Significant reduction in schedule overruns
● Execution Monitoring: Tracking project progress against plans and identifying potential delays or bottlenecks so that execution risks are identified weeks in advance, not when they become site crises. Success here means:
○ Early identification of schedule risks and dependencies
○ Recovery plans created before delays impact delivery
● Cross-Team Governance & Coordination: Ensure alignment between design, material availability, site execution, and commissioning plans through planning reviews and action item closures. Success here means:
○ Reduced delays due to coordination gaps
● Reporting & Decision Support: Enable leadership to make faster decisions by ensuring visibility and data driven insights are available through dashboards and progress plans that clearly highlight execution risks, dependencies, and potential schedule impacts. Success here means:
○ Centralised project dashboards across all active projects
○ Transparent reporting of risks, delays, and dependencies
● 8–12 years of experience in project planning, project controls, or project coordination in EPC / HVAC / MEP / infrastructure environments.
● Experience managing at-least 4 projects end to end, with at-least 2 progressing concurrently and at-least one of them being a hospital project would be ideal
● Hands-on experience using planning tools like Zoho projects, fieldproxy or similar planning platforms
● You understand engineering project workflows including design, procurement, and site execution.
