The first brand aims to be a bridge between climate-resilient agricultural practices and using food as a tool for preventative healthcare. The company focuses on millet-based nutrition, sourcing from regenerative farming co-ops, fortifying millets, and developing ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat products. Their mission is to provide nutrient-loaded flour and foods catering to the diverse needs of different age groups and demographics.
The second brand is an innovative bioplastics company committed to offering sustainable alternatives to traditional plastics. With a strong R&D facility, they produce flexible compostable products like courier bags, garment bags, carry bags, and garbage bags, with an upcoming line of rigid plastics for tableware, cutlery, and disposable water bottles. Their goal is to lead the market in sustainable, eco-friendly packaging solutions.
About the Role
We are looking for a driven, dynamic, and visionary Sales Head (CSO) to lead the sales strategy and initiatives for both brands. As the CSO, you will be responsible for spearheading sales growth, driving revenue, and establishing both brands as leaders in their respective markets. You will work closely with the CEO, COO, and Marketing team to create and implement robust sales plans that align with the overall vision and strategic goals of both companies.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for both companies, focusing on aggressive market penetration, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Business Development & Partnerships: Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, partners, large B2B clients, and strategic accounts.
- Sales Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performance sales team, setting clear goals and monitoring team KPIs to drive exceptional sales performance.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor analysis, and new business opportunities. Leverage data insights to refine and optimize sales strategies.
- Sales Planning & Budgeting: Develop annual and quarterly sales plans, forecast sales targets, and manage sales budgets.
- Product & Solution Development: Collaborate with R&D and production teams to tailor products and solutions based on market demands and client feedback.
- Client Relationship Management: Implement customer retention strategies to foster long-term relationships, improve client satisfaction, and generate repeat business.
- Sales Process Optimization: Implement CRM systems, standardize sales processes, and ensure alignment with marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within the F&B industry, packaging industry, or other related sectors, with a proven track record in B2B sales.
- Demonstrated ability to drive aggressive growth and penetrate new markets.
