About The Client
Location- Remote, India
Our client is a venture studio focused on decarbonization, with an ambitious goal to reduce 1 gigaton of emissions from the industrial sector by 2035. One of their key initiatives involves building energy efficiency and net-zero pathways through energy audits, strategy development, and the implementation of new technologies.
To support these efforts, they are looking to hire a full-time Decarbonization Consultant. This role will work closely with audit teams to develop and implement strategies that reduce energy intensity and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across industrial plants, contributing to their mission of driving sustainable change in the industrial sector.
Work Experience
- 3-5 years of consulting experience in energy transition, industrial decarbonisation,
sustainable consulting and energy markets.
- Proven track record of leading decarbonisation projects within the manufacturing sector,
with direct client engagement.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards related to GHG emissions and
energy efficiency (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064).
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Energy Systems, or related disciplines.
- MBA or a Master's degree in an engineering stream, environmental science, Climate Change, Energy Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in sustainability or energy management (e.g., BEE, LEED, ISO 14001) are good to have.
