The client is seeking a Head of EPC to build and lead the execution backbone of the organization. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for end-to-end project delivery from engineering and procurement to site execution and commissioning while ensuring scalability, operational discipline, and consistent delivery across complex projects.
● EPC Strategy & Capability Building: Build and scale Smart Joules’ EPC capability so the organisation can execute complex HVAC, automation, and energy-efficiency projects predictably and at scale. Success here means:
○ A clear execution architecture across engineering, procurement, and site delivery
○ Standardised SOPs, planning frameworks, and governance systems across projects
○ Build and mentor a high-performance EPC organisation across project management, engineering, site execution, and procurement
● Project delivery Excellence: Lead end-to-end execution of EPC projects from design finalisation to commissioning while ensuring strong execution discipline. Success here means:
○ High on-time project completion rates & consistent project margin performance with reduced execution risks and project overruns
● Engineering & Design Integration: Ensure engineering designs are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with real-world site conditions while integrating Smart Joules’ automation and technology platforms into project delivery. Success here means:
○ Strong alignment between engineering, product, and execution teams
● Commercial Discipline & Project Economics: Maintain strong financial control across EPC projects by closely monitoring project margins, costs, and risks. Success here means:
○ Clear visibility into project profitability and cost drivers with early identification and mitigation of commercial risks
● 15–20 years of experience in EPC / MEP / HVAC / infrastructure project execution.
● Experience delivering complex engineering projects end-to-end, from design to commissioning.
● Experience managing multiple large projects simultaneously across different locations.
● Demonstrated ability to build and lead multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, project management, and site execution.
