The organization is a pioneering cooling-as-a-service (CaaS) startup driving energy efficiency and sustainability. With a goal to cut 29 million tons of CO₂ emissions by 2030, they’re helping India move toward Net Zero. They are dedicated to continuous innovation and data-driven solutions that empower clients to achieve sustainability goals while significantly reducing energy costs. The Financial Controller will lead all financial and commercial functions, ensuring alignment with business strategy. Responsibilities include budgeting and planning, treasury, investor relations, accounting, compliance, MIS and controls, and internal audits. The role requires close coordination with senior leadership and oversight of a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
• Manage treasury operations, cash flow, and banking relationships
• Maintain investor and analyst relations
• Oversee accounting, tax compliance, and statutory reporting
• Drive cost control, financial systems, performance metrics, and reporting
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls across geographies
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors
• Build, manage, and develop a strong finance team

Qualifications:

• CA with 5+ years as Head of Finance/Controller, reporting to top management
• Strong business acumen, financial reporting, and compliance management
• Experience with financial systems (e.g., Tally, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategy and business growth
