The client is seeking a Founder’s Office Associate- Strategic Partnerships & Business Development to help shape and scale their early commercial engine. This is a unique, high-ownership role working directly with the founding team on market expansion, partnerships, and early revenue generation. The role blends strategy, business development, and ecosystem building ideal for someone who wants to combine commercial acumen with hands-on impact in climate and biodiversity finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and co-own the go-to-market approach across biodiversity, carbon, and ESG intelligence.
- Identify, reach out and establish initial connects with senior decision-makers in corporates, developers, investors, governments, accelerators, and multilateral programs.
- Set up and run initial discovery/intro calls; progress opportunities toward pilots, strategic partnerships, or co-creation programs.
- Convert early pilots into recurring, high-value revenue streams in collaboration with founders.
- Design and refine scalable pricing, contracting, and partnership models for SaaS and turnkey solutions.
- Represent the organization externally with customers, partners, investors, and at global sustainability forums.
- Optimize existing lightweight commercial processes (CRM rigor, outreach cadences, partner intel, proposal support) that future-proof scale.
- Collaborate closely with founders on fundraising materials, strategy, and long-term market positioning.
Ideal Profile

- ~5 years in business development, sustainability consulting, partnerships, or climate finance (flexible for exceptional candidates).
