Our client is an innovative legal‑tech company focused on transforming corporate sustainability. Their AI‑enabled ESG platform simplifies the entire sustainability workflow, automating data collection, managing over 1,000 ESG KPIs, providing analytics and benchmarking, and generating compliant reports aligned with frameworks like GRI, CSRD, TCFD, and more.
The client is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who can take ownership of end-to-end web application development using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js). In this role, they will architect scalable back-end services, design robust APIs, and ensure reliable deployments across cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. They will also mentor junior engineers, guide architecture decisions, and collaborate with DevOps to uphold CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js.
- Architect and implement scalable back-end services and RESTful APIs, ensuring security and performance.
- Build dynamic, responsive front-ends using modern React patterns (Hooks, Context API, Redux, etc.).
- Own the deployment process – automate builds and manage environments across AWS (EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda) and/or Azure (App Services, AKS, Blob Storage).
- Collaborate with DevOps to maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
- Mentor junior engineers via code reviews, best practices, and guidance on architecture decisions.
- Monitor, debug, and optimize performance; propose refactoring or improvements as needed.
- Stay current with modern development, cloud computing, and DevOps trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-5 years professional full-stack experience with MERN stack.
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, React.
- Proven experience deploying apps on AWS or Azure (including serverless + containerization).
- Hands-on CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
