A fast-growing climate tech venture is building nature-based solutions like regenerative agriculture, agroforestry (ARR), and biochar projects that benefit smallholder farmers across South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Within just two years, the organization has enabled the removal and avoidance of over 1 million tons of CO₂ and has distributed the majority of revenue to 100,000+ smallholder land stewards. Their proprietary MRV platform blends bio-geo-chemical soil carbon models with remote sensing, machine learning, and calibrated soil data.

They are now looking for a Mobile Lead (SDE-3) to spearhead mobile development and lead a high-performing engineering team, contributing directly to the core platforms empowering field agents, farmers, and climate stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of robust mobile applications using Android or Flutter
• Guide and mentor a team of mobile engineers; foster a collaborative, growth-focused environment
• Take ownership of mobile architecture, technical decisions, and code reviews
• Define and own the mobile development roadmap in alignment with product strategy
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and maintain delivery alignment
• Improve team workflows and development processes for better efficiency and outcomes
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code using Kotlin (Android) or Dart (Flutter)
• Collaborate across teams to continuously iterate on product functionality and UX
• Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in mobile development

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile app development experience with proven leadership capabilities
• Strong experience building and publishing Android and/or Flutter apps
