The client is seeking an NPI Lead to drive product development from early-stage validation to pilot deployment. This role requires strong systems engineering capability, ownership of stage-gate processes, and hands-on involvement in design, testing, and integration. The position will work closely with research teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders to translate innovations into scalable industrial solutions.
● Own stage-gate reviews (IRL 4 → IRL 6/7) and maintain gate documentation
● Coordinate technical due diligence for grants and investors
● Maintain IRL risk registers across technical, supply chain and regulatory areas
● Lead system-level design including PFDs, P&IDs and heat & mass balances
● Own component-level integration (compressors, reactors, heat exchangers, valves)
● Drive DFMA, DFSS and techno-commercial analysis
● Support layout planning and IRL-stage deployment readiness
