The organization works with people collectives at the forefront of the climate crisis, enabling livelihoods and climate adaptation at scale. Its programmes span millions of rural households and large agricultural and forest landscapes across multiple regions globally.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Delivery Head to oversee and optimise all operational delivery processes across multiple programmes. This leadership role is responsible for developing and implementing delivery strategies aligned with organisational objectives, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, within budget and at the required quality standards. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing risks, and driving continuous operational improvement.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing multiple operational projects simultaneously to ensure that resources deliver on time, within budget and to the desired level of quality.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement where all employees can identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to ongoing operational optimisation.
- Identifying and mitigating operational risks, ensuring that the organization can function effectively and overcome unexpected challenges.
- Identifying inefficiencies in operational process and implementing changes that increase efficiency.
- Leading and motivating cross-functional teams, setting clear expectations.
- Gathering, analysing and interpreting data to make informed decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor project progress, tackle potential issues, and continually optimize for better efficiency.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in operations management, business administration or a related field.
- Over 12 years of experience in operations management, with at least 6 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Carbon markets experience is preferable.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing operational strategy that align with organizational objectives.
