As a specialized carbon developer, they leverage expertise in rural livelihoods, smallholder farming, and carbon-offsetting to deliver high-integrity carbon credits. Their focus is on restoration (tree planting) and conservation (forest protection), with operations centered in the Davao region. These projects aim to benefit the climate, local communities, and biodiversity.
The Senior Operations Manager will be based in Davao City, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, and will oversee nationwide projects in restoration and conservation. This role involves managing project leads, ensuring quality compliance, and meeting key performance targets. The manager will also collaborate closely with finance, HR, and stakeholder engagement teams to drive project growth and ensure the smooth implementation of new initiatives, making this a critical leadership role in scaling the organization’s impact.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Scaled Ops process: Build and launch scaled Ops processes to improve user experience and increase tech platform usability and reliability
- Product roadmapping: Develop and implement processes to streamline product development, including road-mapping, release planning, prioritization, and feedback loops
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between engineering, design, and operations teams, ensuring alignment and open communication on goals, timelines, and roadmaps
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish frameworks for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key metrics and performance indicators. Ensure management team has access to accurate, real-time data for decision-making
- Release Management & Coordination: Manage the release process, coordinating with engineering, QA, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure smooth launches
- Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Facilitate a feedback process from internal and external stakeholders to improve product quality, prioritization, and processes. Champion a culture of continuous improvement
- Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Identify potential roadblocks or challenges early in the product lifecycle, working with the appropriate teams to resolve them quickly and effectively
- Documentation & Knowledge Management: Oversee documentation and training materials to ensure consistent onboarding and knowledge-sharing across teams
Educational Qualification
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, business or another technical field; MBA is a plus
