They are seeking a Programme Associate who will work closely with the Deputy Director Industry and the rest of the Programme Team on all aspects of programmatic strategy and grant-making. The Programme Associate is expected to apply their expertise to the implementation of the programme and grant-making strategies.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work with the Deputy Director, Industry to support organization’s grant management and projects portfolio and manage them throughout their lifecycle. E.g. Concept development, co-creation, detailed proposal, execution and closure.
- Contribute to the formulation, implementation and refinement of Industry workstream related strategies.
- Assist in the identification and assessment of potential grantee organisations and other partners, ensuring alignment with the organisation's priorities, mission and values.
- Follow up and review concept notes, proposals, due diligence, contracts, reports and other grantee/consultant deliverables, including supervising and ensuring timely course corrections as needed.
- Collaborate with the Programme Team to execute strategies that align with the organisation's goals and objectives in areas such as Industry Decarbonisation, and Clean Energy.
- Support the Programme Team by managing the Programme Team’s budget and the interface with the Grants Management System and with Operations Team to ensure a smooth programmatic delivery.
- Support and at times lead the organisation's efforts in stakeholder engagement, networking, and partnership building to ensure an expanding eco system focused on enabling systematic decarbonization of the Industry Sector.
- Assist in initiatives related to knowledge sharing and capacity building among relevant stakeholders, including providing support with event organisation.
- Collaborate closely with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager and the Operations Team to design and track the project’s activities, outputs, outcomes and impact, including gathering reliable data to contribute to impact assessments and reportings.
- Stay up to date on emerging trends, policies, and best practices.
