About the Role
The Sales Manager/Executive will play a critical role in achieving the company's sales objectives by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals with businesses across industries. This role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for sustainability, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to drive results.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Planning and Execution
• Develop and implement sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Identify and approach potential clients in sectors such as retail, healthcare, F&B, and
e-commerce for bioplastic solutions.
• Generate leads and actively participate in client acquisition through cold calls, emails,
and meetings.
- Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
and referrals.
• Address client queries, provide product recommendations, and offer end-to-end
support to ensure high client satisfaction.
- Market and Competitor Analysis
• Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify
new opportunities.
• Provide feedback on market needs and trends to align product offerings and strategies
accordingly.
- Product Knowledge and Presentation
• Become an expert in product offerings, including flexible bioplastics (bags, films) and rigid plastics (tableware, bottles).
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, effectively
communicating the value proposition of bioplastic solutions.
- Reporting and Documentation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, client interactions, and deal progress
in CRM tools.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for the Sales Head or management team.
- Collaboration with Teams
• Work closely with the R&D, production, and marketing teams to ensure timely
delivery and alignment with client requirements.
• Assist the Sales Head in developing proposals, pricing strategies, and contracts.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of sales targets (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Number of new clients onboarded.
- Client retention rate and satisfaction score.
