You will be responsible for building the company’s sales function from the ground up, shaping strategy, assembling a high-performing team, and driving growth. This role demands a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, can open doors to new B2B opportunities, and champions the company’s sustainable value proposition in the market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B sales strategy
- Personally drive business development and build strong client relationships
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team
- Collaborate with leadership to align sales with mission and growth goals
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the beauty and FMCG sectors
- Represent the company at industry forums, events, and trade shows
- Track performance metrics, report on progress, and continually optimise approach
Requirements
- Proven B2B sales and business development experience, ideally in packaging, FMCG, or related sectors
- Experience building sales functions in startups or high-growth environments
- Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
