Their expertise spans greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, carbon footprint analysis, ESG advisory, environmental consulting, energy efficiency, and accredited third-party verification and validation of projects under national and international programs.

The Senior Lead Auditor / Technical Reviewer / Technical Expert will take a leadership role in overseeing and reviewing verification and validation engagements. This includes providing technical direction, conducting complex reviews of other auditors’ work, ensuring methodological and regulatory compliance, and mentoring junior staff. The role is pivotal in maintaining the organisation’s reputation for technical excellence and integrity in climate and sustainability audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level oversight of verification/validation projects ensuring compliance with ISO 14064, ISO 17029, CCTS, and GHG Protocols.
• Conduct audits as Lead Auditor and perform technical reviews of projects audited by others.
• Issue final validation/verification opinions based on comprehensive review.
• Guide audit teams on complex compliance matters and methodologies.
• Lead internal training and competency-building programs.
• Collaborate with senior management on accreditation processes and scheme expansion.
• Support strategic planning and quality control for carbon credit and sustainability assignments.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related discipline.
• Professional Credentials: Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 14064, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or equivalent standards.
