Operating across multiple geographies worldwide, the organization supports high-performance building design through advanced simulation, energy modelling, and compliance advisory. Their work spans complex international projects and supports leading sustainability and building-rating frameworks, helping clients make data-driven decisions across energy efficiency, HVAC performance, and net-zero outcomes.
They are hiring a Senior Project Consultant / Project Consultant to join their consulting team in Pune. This role involves working on complex, high-profile international projects, running HVAC and energy simulations, advising clients on building and mechanical system design alternatives, and collaborating closely with a global team of modelling experts.
● Provide consulting solutions for HVAC modelling and energy simulation
● Model operational energy and net zero carbon projects
● Model projects including LEED, NABERS, BREEAM, and similar rating systems
● Support projects for international building regulations
● Coordinate with IES’s global team on project delivery
● Provide analysis and prepare/review project reports
● Mentor software customers as required
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
● Experience with IES VE and ApacheHVAC (other packages like EnergyPlus, Visual DOE considered)
● Experience with LEED modelling and USGBC LEED documentation
● Experience modelling to ASHRAE 90.1 PRM method
● Strong communication skills in English
