To drive their mission forward, we are seeking a Technical Expert with deep expertise in wastewater treatment and process optimization. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research and development, collaborate closely with product, R&D, and data science teams, and design and implement innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of water treatment systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Driving process modeling, design assessment standardization, and simulation to improve the product, with deep collaboration with product, R&D, and data science teams to ensure the product is the best in the space within a year.
• Conducting R&D onsite and running experiments to establish new solution results, including testing new automation frameworks, data science models, and more.
• Completing design assessments, retrofit assessments, and creating operation philosophy documents for facilities coming on board, whether they are new or existing plants.
• Initiating process research for onboarding new technologies and defining their operational strategies.
• Staying updated on global advancements in the field and ensuring the product maintains deep domain intelligence to remain competitive.

Educational Qualification

• PhD from a leading institution in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or a related field, with expertise at the intersection of chemical processes, wastewater treatment, and statistical modeling.

Work experience and other skills

• Ideally, a few years of experience in wastewater treatment design, operation, and optimization at actual sites.
• Interest in making a tangible impact on improving water infrastructure functionality post-commissioning.
• Solid knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including biological treatment, chemical treatment, and sludge handling.
